Council has been implementing a new accounting system over the past financial year and has encountered several ongoing issues within the new system. As a result of these problems, it was not possible to raise and issue water notices in the usual timeframes. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused in the delay in sending the water notices out.Read more....

Ordinary Council Meetings are held in the William Gardner Conference Room at the Glen Innes Severn Learning Centre on the fourth Thursday of each month (with the exceptions of December when the meeting is held on the third Thursday, and January when no meeting is held).

St Andrew is the patron Saint of Scotland. The Scottish flag lowering ceremony will be held at the Australian Standing Stones on St Andrew's Day, 30 November 2022. Enjoy the haunting sound of the pipers and drummers, hear about St Andrew and toast the Patron Saint in style.
