The Youth Booth is a safe and welcoming space for young people aged 12-24 in the Glen Innes Severn local government area. This service offers activities, support and opportunities to get involved in the community. Council proudly supports inclusion and diversity across all of our services.
Opening Hours
School term
- Monday to Thursday
- 3:00pm – 5:30pm
School holidays
- Monday to Thursday
- 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Activities and Support
- Capacity-building activities that support young people to develop skills, confidence, and leadership.
- Youth-led programming, where young people help design and lead activities that matter to them.
- Support from dedicated Youth Workers, providing guidance, mentoring and a safe space to talk.
- Participation in youth community events, workshops, and local initiatives.
How to Join The Youth Booth
To register at The Youth Booth, young people will need to complete:
- A Youth Booth Membership Enrolment Pack
- Membership forms signed by both the young person and their parent/guardian.
To collect these form, you can visit The Youth Booth at 152 Wentworth Street, Glen Innes or email youth@gisc.nsw.gov.au.
