Community Donations Program

Council’s Community Donations Program opens each year for local not-for-profit community groups seeking support for projects that benefit the Glen Innes Severn community.

Community groups can apply for a donation of up to $1,500. Council has a total of $15,000 available for distribution each year, including $5,000 from the Sapphire Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund. Donations are not available to individuals.

Applications must be submitted using Council’s Community Donations Application Form and meet the application guidelines. Applications received by the advertised closing date are considered by the Community Donations Committee, with recommendations presented to Council.

Successful applicants are required to submit a Community Donations Report Form by the nominated reporting deadline. Groups that do not return the report may not receive funding in the next round. Deadline: 30 June 2027
