During January and February Council will be undertaking spraying on its urban road network, to kill grass and weeds growing through road pavements and kerb and guttering. This is an important part of Council’s maintenance program to ensure longevity of its road pavements.
Council will also be spraying road verges on the unsealed road network ahead of grading crews. This applies to all unsealed roads in the Glen Innes Severn LGA unless prior arrangements or discussions with Council have been made.
For spraying adjacent to Sensitive Places (schools, childcare facilities, hospitals and nursing homes), and/or for parties who register interest with Council, prior notice by phone, mail or letterbox drop will be provided at least two (2) working days beforehand.
