Glen Innes Highlands Destination Management Plan 2026–2030

The Glen Innes Highlands Destination Management Plan (DMP) 2026–2030 sets out Glen Innes Severn Council’s approach to managing and growing the region’s visitor economy.

Aligned with the Glen Innes Highlands Economic Development Strategy 2026–2030, the Plan provides a framework to attract more visitors, increase visitor spend and length of stay, enhance visitor experiences, and strengthen the profile of the Glen Innes Highlands as an approved Australian GeoRegion aspiring to UNESCO Global Geopark nomination.

Led by Council in partnership with government, industry and the community, the Plan focuses on placemaking and Geotourism to support sustainable economic growth while recognising the region’s natural, cultural and heritage assets.
