Melling Park

Melling Park - picnic table and playground

Named in honour of Dorothy Mellings, who trained as a school teacher and served at various schools in NSW prior to transferring to the Glen Innes 
West Infants' School in 1940 where she remained a much-loved kindergarten teacher for 28 years.

This park adjoins the West Glen Infants School and was named "Melling Park" in 1967 to commemorate the life of Dorothy.
