Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter is Glen Innes Severn Council, 265 Grey Street Glen Innes NSW 2370 (Promoter).
2. The promotion commences Thursday 20 November 2025 and closes at the conclusion of the draw on Wednesday 24 December 2025 (Promotion Period).
3. Acceptance of a prize is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Prizes will only be awarded as "Spend in Glen" gift cards that may be used at participating businesses to the amount dictated by the card. The list of participating businesses for 2025 will be published on the Spend in Glen Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SpendInGlen).
4. There will be four (4) prize draws held at the Glen Innes Town Square at 5:30pm Thursday 4 December, 5:30pm Thursday 11 December, 5:30pm Thursday 18 December and 12:30pm Wednesday 24 December. Winners do not need to be in attendance.
5. Each draw will be scrutinised and will be conducted at the time and place indicated above. All entry envelopes are to be received by 5:15pm (AEDT) on the day of the draw. All eligible undrawn entries remain valid for the next draw during this promotion period.
6. The prize money (in the form of "Spend in Glen" Gift Cards) will be awarded as follows: The first valid entry drawn at each prize draw shall receive a "Spend in Glen" Gift Card to the value of $500. Ten (10) further draws will be conducted with each eligible winner awarded a "Spend in Glen" Gift Card to the value of $200.
7. Entry is only open to Australian residents (Eligible Entrants). Business owners, their immediate family and staff are not able to enter this competition through their own business. However, they are not excluded if they purchase an item for $20 or more in a single purchase from another participating business.
8. To qualify for entry into the competition during the promotional period, eligible entrants must spend $20 or more in one single transaction at any of the participating businesses and complete the entry by placing a copy of the receipt into a supplied envelope with their name and contact phone number.
9. For businesses that do not produce a 'receipt' as proof of purchase, the promoter will supply a printed docket with a statement confirming the purchase has met the minimum value required for entry. This is to be completed by the business with the business name and dated and signed by a representative of the business. This docket may be used in place of a printed receipt for the purposes of this promotion. The process for completing an entry is then described as above,
10. Any entry information provided is used for the sole purpose of contacting the winners and legitimising that the entry conditions were met.
11. Each separate purchase over $20 entitles the eligible entrant to ONE free entry into the draw. Entrants may enter as many times as they are eligible.
12. Tobacco products and prescription medications are not eligible purchases for entry into this promotion.
13. Spend in Glen Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or used to purchase tobacco products or prescription medications.
14. The maximum total prize value is $10,000. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. The prize value is in Australian Dollars.
15. The prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
16. All winners will be contacted as soon as possible after the draw via the details provided on the envelope. The winners first name may be published on the Spend in Glen Facebook page.
17. The Promoter and its officers will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, marketing of this promotion or the use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to a redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions.
19. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
20. Entry details are the property of the Promoter for the purposes of awarding the prizes only. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner notifies the Promoter, or their representative, otherwise at the time of accepting the prize.
21. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating awarding of the prize only.
22. The results of the draws are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
23. An Authorised NSW Permit No is not required as prize pool does not exceed $10,000AU.
