Waste Management

Trading Hours at the Landfill - Summer hours commence 1 October to 30 April.  Winter Hours commence 1 May to 30 September.

Please note that last load over the weighbridge is 15 minutes before closing time.

Glen Innes Severn Council operates four (4) landfills, and contracts out garbage and recycling collection.

Residents can find which waste collection area their property is in via the Glen Innes Waste Collection Area Map.

All waste collection days for the current year can be found at the page link below:  Garbage and Recycling Collection.

Council would like to remind residents that all mobile waste bins are to be placed for collection in front of the property to which the bins belong, within the Council road reserve, the night before the allocated collection day.

Bins that are not presented to the street prior to the commencement of the collection service will not be collected and the resident will be responsible for its disposal at the local landfill facility.
