COUNCIL PARTNERS WITH LIFEGUARDING SERVICES AUSTRALIA

Glen Innes Severn Council is pleased to announce it has signed a 12-month contract with Lifeguarding Services Australia for the operation and management of the Glen Innes and Emmaville Aquatic Centres. The contract will take effect on 1 September 2024, with the pool season scheduled to begin at the end of September.

RSPCA DONATES DRINKING FOUNTAIN FOR GLEN INNES PETS

The RSPCA NSW Glen Innes Volunteer Supporter Group has donated a new drinking fountain for pets and their owners to use when walking their furry friends in Glen Innes. This much-needed service will allow pet owners to provide their animal companions with fresh drinking water, ensuring pets can stay happy and hydrated during their outings to ANZAC Park.

Glen Innes Severn Council has successfully reduced the average determination time for Development Applications (DAs) from 89 days to just 36 days, despite a 72 per cent increase in the number of DAs received from 1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024 compared to the same period last year.
