The quarry produces basalt aggregate from fresh rock for concrete production and bitumen road sealing. Council has retained existing staff and equipment, and the business continues to operate profitably.
Opening Hours for Glen Innes Aggregates
Open to the public:
Monday to Thursday from 7.30am - 4.30pm
Fridays from 7.30am - 4.00pm.
Deliveries and pick-ups outside these days and times may be available by arrangement by contacting the Quarry Manager on 0418 612 494 or the Quarry Office.
From 9 January 2023, Glen Innes Aggregates will no longer be accepting cash payments. Payment via Eftpos or Account is still available.
Scheduled Blast Operations
Please be advised Council is planning to conduct a blast operation at Glen Innes Aggregates (GIA) on either Tuesday, 2 April or Wednesday, 3 April 2024. This date will be subject to weather conditions and any unforeseen circumstances.
