SHINING A LIGHT ON A GEM OF A SHOW

With the launch of its new brand and website, planning for the 2024 Minerama Fossicking, Gem & Jewellery Show is well underway and is now calling on stallholders!

Thanks to grant funding received in 2022, Minerama has a fresh new look with a new website and branding to support Council’s efforts to elevate the event’s presence and attendance in 2024.

Minerama is one of the largest shows of its kind in NSW and will take place at the Glen Innes Showground on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 March 2024.

Mayor Rob Banham said the Minerama Fossicking, Gem & Jewellery Show is a celebration of craftsmanship and the vibrant spirit of our community.

“Being the largest gem and jewellery show in NSW, Minerama is where the earth’s treasures come to light, and the artistry of gems and jewels shine brightest,” Cr Banham said.

“I encourage all stallholders to join us in showcasing your unique creations at this extraordinary gathering of gemstone enthusiasts.”

Following the launch of the new website, stallholders are now invited to submit an online application to reserve a site for three days of trading.  

With indoor and outdoor trade stalls selling gemstone rough, fine jewellery and everything in between, workshops and demonstrations, fun activities for kids, and delicious food and drink, the show is a must-attend event for gem nuts, rock hounds and families.

Taking place during autumn, it’s a popular time of year for visitors to come for a day trip, or make a weekend out of it, with so much to see and do at the show and in the beautiful Glen Innes Highlands.
