Community Donations are open for application during July and August each year
Council invited local not for profit community groups to submit a written application requesting a donation during the 2023/2024 Financial Year, up to a value of $1,500 for projects that will benefit the community.
Council has a total of $15,000 available for distribution which includes $5,000 received from the Sapphire Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund. Council does not make donations to individuals. Application forms are available at the Town Hall Office, on Council website (see link below) or by contacting Council on 6730 2300.

All applications that were submitted by 4.30pm on this day were considered by the Committee, with recommendations made to Council addressed in a report at the September 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting.
Council resolved the following community groups received donations for the 2023/2024 financial year:
- Attract Connect Stay - Glen Innes Inc
- Glen Innes and District Historical Society Inc
- Glen Innes and District Tennis Association Inc
- Glen Innes Branch Multiple Sclerosis Society
- Glen Innes Junior Cricket Association
- Glen Innes Mineral and Gem Club Inc
- Glen Innes Opportunity Shop Inc
- Glen Innes Potter Club
- Glen Innes Severn Friends of the Library
- Glen Severn Community Christmas Day Luncheon
Community Groups that receive a Community Donation during the 2023/2024 financial year are requested to return a 2023/2024 Community Donations Report Form(PDF, 248KB) to Council by 30 June 2024. Groups that do not return this report may not receive a donation during the next funding round.
