WATER RESTRICTIONS FOR GLEN INNES

***LEVEL ONE WATER RESTRICTIONS AT GLEN INNES
Due to ongoing drought conditions, Level One water restrictions will commence in Glen Innes from tomorrow, Thursday, 11 April 2019. Under Level One restrictions the use of garden sprinklers is only permitted between the hours of 6.00pm and 8.00pm. Council will advise residents of any further changes to water restrictions via radio, on Council’s website and Facebook page. Council has prepared this Fact Sheet which provides information on what is allowed under Level One Restrictions.

Pumping has now ceased from the Beardy Waters Weir and water is being sourced only from the Eerindii Ponds and Red Range road bores. In addition to complying with restrictions residents are requested to be water conscious and minimise water consumption in these dry times.

Restrictions in the village of Deepwater have been removed due to recent flow in the Deepwater River.

If you have any questions in relation to water restrictions, please contact Council’s Department of Infrastructure Services on telephone (02) 6730 2371.
