NAME THE GRADER COMPETITION

In 2018 Council bought a new John Deere 670GP grader and local students and the overall public were invited to suggest a suitable name for the new machine. The winner, selected by Council’s Roads Consultative Committee, was a year one student from St. Joseph’s School. “Tuff Scruff” is working hard on Council’s roads and proudly carries the winning artwork.

Council is once again introducing a new John Deere 670GP to the fleet, and it needs a name! Anyone with a creative idea is invited to submit a name, explaining in a few words why you think that would be good name, and do some art work as well if you like. The winner will have the privilege of inspecting the new machine and helping Council’s workshop staff with applying the new name logo.

Please mark entries Attention: Jai Brummell and submit in person to Council’s Church Street or Town Hall offices, or via email to council@gisc.nsw.gov.au or by mail to PO Box 61 Glen Innes 2370. Entries Close at 4.30pm on Friday, 18 December 2020.
