CHRISTMAS SHUTDOWN AND TRADING HOURS

FESTIVE SEASON TRADING HOURS

Council wishes to advise that the following worksites will be closed from 1.00pm on Friday, 21 December 2018 to 8.30am on Wednesday, 2 January 2019:

  • The Town Hall Office in Grey Street;
  • The Church Street Office;
  • The Lang Street Works Depot and Stores;
  • Glen Innes Aggregates Quarry;
  • Life Choices – Support Services.

Please note that the previously advised time of closure for the above worksites (10.30am) IS INCORRECT.

The Library/Learning Centre will be closed from 1.00pm on Friday, 21 December 2018 and will reopen on Friday, 4 January 2018.

Deepwater Library Depot will be closed from 5.00pm on Wednesday, 12 December to 11.00am on Wednesday, 9 January 2018.

Emmaville Library Depot will be closed from 5.00pm on Friday, 14 December to 11.00am on Friday, 11 January 2018.

Glencoe Library Services will be available during the normal Glencoe Post Office hours.

Vacation Care will be available on Thursday, 20 December 2018, recommencing after Christmas on Wednesday, 2 January 2019 and running through to Friday 25 January 2019. 

The Swim Centres at Emmaville and Glen Innes will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day only.

The Visitor Information Centre will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Trading hours will be 9.00am to 5.00pm on weekdays, and 9.00am to 3.00pm on weekends and on New Year’s Day.

There are no changes to the kerbside waste collection service over the Christmas / New Year period. Glen Innes Landfill will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. ALL Rural Landfills will open on Thursday 27 December during the Christmas / New Year period.
