CALLING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE

CALLING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE

Council’s Visitor Information Centre (V.I.C.) is seeking volunteers to be “meet and greet” ambassadors. The Visitor Information Centre has been busy over the holiday period with travellers seeking information on activities and attractions. The V.I.C. shop also offers a great range of products from local businesses around our region.

Council values the role of volunteers. At the V.I.C. volunteers have one of the most important roles, often being the first point of contact greeting visitors and ensuring they are checked in with the COVID-19-safe Service NSW app, as well as guiding visitors to the experienced Tourism Assistants.

Volunteer positions require friendly and patient individuals who are willing to learn or are confident with using a smartphone. Positions will be available in three (3) hour shifts and are rostered depending on candidate availability.

If you are interested in joining a friendly team of volunteers please contact Rhonda Bombell on 6730 2408 on Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
