Cherry Tree Road reopens, sporting new bridges.
There's no risk of toppling into any dips and dales along Cherry Tree Road with two new bridges now straddling the creeks and crevasses. Council has put the finishing touches on the construction of the two bridges including up-grading the existing concrete abutments and installing the new engineered superstructures. The existing piers were also incorporated into the new abutments. Recycling where possible is part of the refurb philosophy. The swanky new road surface also helps motorists enjoy a smooth ride. Residents and travelers using this road can now put the horse and the hiking boots away and enjoy the scenery from the comfort of their vehicle.
