There's lots of options with the new phone system!
Council has introduced a telephone auto attendant service. What does this mean for you if you want to contact Council? If you dial the main landline 6730 2300 customer service number you will be greeted with a number of options that allow you to select the service area you need without having to go through the main switchboard.
This will reduce queuing and the number of people you have to talk to on the way to having your customer service needs addressed.
The options you will hear are as follows:
For the Town Hall office, including account payments, rates and general inquiries, please press 1;
For the Church Street office, including building, planning, animals and rubbish, please press 2;
For the Church Street office, including roads, footpaths, water and sewage, please press 3;
For Life Choices Support Services, Aged and Disabilities, please press 4;
For the Visitor Information Centre, please press 5;
For the Library, please press 6;
For all other inquiries, please press 7 and a customer service officer will be with you shortly;
