Expression of Interest - Licence & Operation of Crofters Cottage Café

Council is seeking Submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Respondents for the Licence and Operation of Crofters Cottage Café – Centennial Parklands, Glen Innes in accordance with the requirements as detailed within the Specifications.
The premises has been leased as a restaurant/café and cultural centre. Council’s preference is for a food business or combined use such as coffee shop, restaurant and/or cafeteria however other uses would be considered on merit.
The internal floor space has seating capacity for approximately 30 people, whilst an outdoor area has the further capacity for 16 – 20 seats. The café includes a fitted out commercial kitchen, however the licensee will need to provide furniture and any additional kitchen fit out.
The successful applicant is required to:
- Meet Food Safety Standards
- Maintain Public Liability Insurance
- Comply with all Conditions and Specifications in accordance with the licence agreement
- Demonstrate experience in developing, delivering and managing a similar venture of business
- Demonstrate ability to provide a sustainable business model
Respondents are required to complete the EOI template that addresses the technical, commercial, and indicative pricing aspects.
Please note, Council reserves the right to enter into a licence agreement directly with a proponent if the submission reflects ‘best overall value’ to Council and the community.
