CURRENT WORKS

 

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WENTWORTH STREET

Please be advised that pavement rehabilitation works will commence on Wentworth Street, between Church Street and Grey Street in the week beginning Monday 23 October 2017. Working hours will be between 7:30am and 4:30pm and it is expected that these works will be completed in two (2) weeks, subject to weather conditions and external delays. The road will be closed to through traffic during working hours, however where possible, access will be arranged for local residents and businesses.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BOURKE STREET

Please be advised that pavement rehabilitation works will commence on Bourke Street, between East Avenue and Grey Street from early November 2017. Working hours will be between 7:30am and 4:30pm and it is expected that these works will be completed in one (1) week, subject to weather conditions and external delays. The road will be closed to through traffic during working hours, however where possible, access will be arranged for local residents and businesses.

 
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WEST FURRACABAD ROAD
 
Please be advised that West Furracabad Road will be closed from Tuesday 17 October 2017 to allow for gravel resheeting works to be carried out. Working hours will be between 7:30am and 4:30pm and it is expected that these works will be completed in six (6) days.
 
The road will be closed during working hours however access will be arranged for school buses and local residents.

 

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BARGENS ROAD

Please be advised that Bargens Road will be closed from Monday 9 October 2017 to allow for bridge replacement works to be carried out. It is expected that these works will be completed in four (4) to five (5) weeks. The road will be closed to through traffic for the entirety of the project.

 

Updates and any changes to these works will be posted on Council’s Facebook page and website. Council will endeavour to complete these works with minimal impact on residents and please be assured that Council will accommodate any emergency situations where access is required. We regret any inconvenience that these works may cause and thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
