Glen Innes Severn Council covers an area of 5,487 sq. km, and is located in the beautiful New England area of N.S.W., servicing the town of Glen Innes and villages of Deepwater, Emmaville, Glencoe and Red Range.

The Glen Innes Severn area is known as Glen Innes Highlands (Celtic Country), and is the home of the Australian Standing Stones, where the Australian Celtic Festival is celebrated annually in May.

* EOI – LEASE BUS LOUNGE VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are being called to lease an area within the Visitor Information Centre currently referred to as the Bus Lounge covering an area of approx. 32 sqm. Council would see the area suitable for use as a retail space condusive to the current businesses operating within the Centre. The area will be provided in a locked up state, with electrical, lighting, floor coverings, painting etc. the responsibility of the new tenant. However Council would entertain discussions whereby minimal electrical work was included in the “locked up” condition.  Due Date for receipt of EOI - 02 June 2017.  Address for Receipt of EOI:

*****EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: GRAZING LAND LEASES

Council is calling for Expressions of Interest for the opportunity of leasing grazing land.  There are four (4) areas of land available to lease for stock grazing purposes: Gasworks Laneway, Shannonvale Road, Grafton Street, and the Sewerage Treatment Plant off the New England Highway.  More information can be viewed, and application forms found, at the Town Hall and Church Street Council Offices, Library Learning Centre, and village Post Offices at Deepwater, Emmaville and Glencoe.    Expressions of Interest close on Thursday, 25 May 2017.  For further information please contact Council’s Finance Officer, Sanchia Sherratt, on  6730 2300.
