Glen Innes Severn Council covers an area of 5,487 sq. km, and is located in the beautiful New England area of N.S.W., servicing the town of Glen Innes and villages of Deepwater, Emmaville, Glencoe and Red Range.

The Glen Innes Severn area is known as Celtic Country, and is the home of the Australian Standing Stones, where the Australian Celtic Festival is celebrated annually in May.

DRILL AND BLAST OPERATION AT GLEN INNES AGGREGATES

Glen Innes Aggregates quarry will be conducting a drill and blast operation during the week commencing Tuesday, 4 October, weather permitting.

The above documents are currently on public exhibition and can be viewed at Council’s Town Hall and Church Street Offices, the Glen Innes Severn Library / Learning Centre, Emmaville, Deepwater and Glencoe Post Offices, and on Council’s website:  www.gisc.nsw.gov.au.  Kindly note that submissions will close at 4.30pm on Friday, 28 October 2016.

PROPOSED CHANGES TO GLEN INNES SALEYARDS FEES AND CHARGES

  • Private weighing of cattle at the Glen Innes Saleyards to $4.40 (including GST) per head, plus an additional $2.20 (including GST) per head for scanning of cattle, if required. 
  • Trans-shipment of bulls at the Glen Innes Saleyards to $15.00 (including GST) plus an administration fee of $25.00 (including GST) where bulls are not being sold through a member of the Glen Innes Selling Agents Association.

PROPOSED CHANGES TO GLEN INNES AGGREGATES FEES AND CHARGES

  • Glen Innes Weighbridge Ticket to $20 (including GST) regardless of the number of cattle weighed.
